a celebration giveaway

Hey you guys, I've got something for you...

Sorry about the crapy photobooth quality, it's hard to take a picture of yourself when you're holding up a BEAUTIFUL BOOK!

So I've got this notebook, embroidered birds and birdcage on the front, blank inside, and I didn't know what to do with it. And then I thought, OH! I could make a recipe book for one of YOU as a mini celebration of the fact that as of today I helped my 150th person go VeganForAWeek!

so I have!

It's got most of the recipes that are on this site in it, and a couple of extras. I tried really hard not to let my writing get too messy and to make it easy to follow. There's a ton of room in the back for you to put your own recipes and the pages are pretty absorbent so if you spill some soup on it, it should be ok.

It's covered in a really nice fabric with a teapot on the back and it's even got one of those little ribbons to keep your place! Aw, why am I giving it away. Oh yeah, because you're all supersweet and leave me adorable comments everytime I stuff my face.

I'll send it to wherever in the world you are, maybe plus a couple of goodies? All you need to do to enter is to be a follower of this humble little blog (if you just regularly stop by, that counts!) and leave a comment, maybe tell me your favourite recipe! Don't forget to leave a contact site/email address, and if you tweet it or mention it on your blog I'll totally enter your name into the big hat again. I'll draw the winner a week from today, the 19th. I hope you win ♥

Aww you are the best person ever. My favourite recipe would easily be the gumbo, I make it at least once a week. I made it for a party I went to about two weeks ago and it was a hit! People were lovin' it. I'm looking forward to making the key lime pie this week though :)

Ohhh fab what a cute idea!
I've only been following your blog for a few weeks and I've already made 2 recipes (1 of which I blogged about) and they've both been delicious. Everyone who's tried them has loved them too, even my boyfriend who is super fussy.
I've also thought about contacting you regarding the going vegan for a week help that you offer. I'm vegetarian and try to eat vegan as much as possible but would like a bit of help with trying it on a more full time basis.
Love your blog :) and I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I love this blog beyond all reason. I'm a starving grad student in a poetry writing program, and being vegan in the midwest is just about killing me. This blog gets me motivated to not just eat toast all the time!

My favorite recipe is the killer key lime pie––it may be the most delicious pie I've ever had, including the non-vegan ones.

Love,

Oh, this would earn a well-deserved spot of honour on my recipe book shelf. I'm still in love with the butternut squash lasagna and the red wine artichoke pasta bake. I could eat those every week. In fact, I haven't had either in a while...

I don't want to enter as I'd rather it go to a new vegan (seriously, I have enough cake already).

Just wanted to comment to say that it's an amazingly sweet idea. Generally I find blog give-aways gimicky and a bit cringeworthy, but this is genuinely really thoughtful.

Congratulations for encouraging so many people to give veganism a go.
